The Istanbul Kitchen welcomes you with the scent of authentic Turkish flavours and a warm ambience in the very heart of Cheltenham.
Istanbul is a very special place where people from all over the country gather and represent their local cuisine at their best. Our name “The Istanbul Kitchen” is intended to represent these exciting cultures and unique flavours to our customers.
Our managerial staff originate from Istanbul. Having graduated and worked in the lodging industry and tourism since 1979, they moved to London in 1997 and have continued working in the same direction. With the intention of getting away from busy city life, they decided to move in here, Cheltenham, seeking a peaceful and relaxing haven.
Our head chef has been sharing his 30 years of experience which he gained practising both in Turkey and the U.K. with all of those who enjoy Turkish cuisine.
With our fresh and constantly updated menu and our friendly staff, it is located at the very centre of Cheltenham. You can even find us by following the delicious scent across the street.
You are invited to experience our traditionally baked bread, amazing kebabs, genuine Mediterranean delicacies as well as a whole variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Our seasonally updated, always fresh and extensive menu will surprise you with tastes from different cultures and cuisines. We also offer a takeaway menu so you can enjoy the authenticity of our cuisine in the comfort of your home too.
We are a dog-friendly establishment, you can bring along your canine friends with you and they will also have a chance to experience our ambience at a dining section reserved for them.
